The fact that the fibers are all curled means,
that every fiber is absorbing space and this makes the structure very stable and tight. 

However the fibers are so flexible that hitting from the grass
feels very natural and not hard like a regular driving range mat.

The duotone gives a more natural appearance.

Nylon is the most resistant fiber with a high burning point.
Therefore it will not melt while hitting from it. 
Other competitors have a PP type of yarn,
which melts down and therefore the product will disappear eventually.

This reduces the lifespan of this product significantly.
